I'd like, but there is a problem with getting result + foto from race america. my plan on next year is less then 10.9s on official telemetry. Hoosier drag radials 245\45 17, lightweight methanol+sport fuel and about 470+ whp. This car is really fast. We have 23 angle and 2bars on GTX3076 1.06 tial.

And i can't understand what does it mean "and those rear windows would not fly in the u.s. they b dark"

Yeah, same here (Romania), and pretty much anywhere in Europe. We can do anything we want with the rear windows and as well as the hatch/back window (up to 95%), but applying any kind of foil (except for 100% transparency) on the front windows and windscreen is forbidden by law.
They consider that the front windows are already tinted from the factory and anything you'd do to them will make the opacity go above 35%.

However, I have some 3M tint on the front windows (73% transparency, so 27% opacity) because, fuck the law!, I don't want skin cancer as I'm driving a lot. Even with that tint on the front door windows my arms look like a farmer's tractor driver arm.

Anyway, pretty much any police officer here will let you go away with that unless the tint is really dark. I assume in Russia they will also do that even if sometimes you will need to bribe them (around here I never had to do that but some of my friends had to, some others had to skin the tint off of the window while the police officer was watching and pretending that he was still thinking if they will retain the car registration certificate or not - I so hate those pigs...).

i can't. Pat - maybe. They tried all variants.

Tokay444 01-01-2014 11:13 AM

at wet sleeve is deemed superior and able to support more hp. just wondering why they didn't work out.

wet sleeves made our block too "sandy". It begins to spin alittle but enough for getting head up.

very difficult to explain this in Russian, too difficult - in English)

Tokay444 01-01-2014 11:37 AM

hmm. the dartons are Siamese and should not spin. hopefully pat can expand a bit.

block revolves on gorizontal axis

Tokay444 01-01-2014 12:53 PM

ahhhh. that thing twists huh? i get it.
that can be prevented by stress relieving after roughing, and before finishing.

no problems with sleeves for power, durton wet or dry. but wet sleeves do our block too sandy and big load begins to revolve block on gorizontal axis. so we lose containment (head and block) no bolts can help.

Every state is different. In NJ rear windows can be painted black for all they care. Front can't have anything though. I know Florida and some of the other Southern states allow quite a bit of tint in the front though.

The golf blew because it was too dirty I guess. That's one of the reasons why I keep my car as clean as I can and I wax it often (the roads here in Romania are about as dirty as those in Russia, just not that much though but this year we didn't have as much snow as you did).

Btw, what's the damage? pistons, piston rings, block, turbo? was it on stock block with all that power?

rmp for launch i can change in my chip. Now - about 6200rmp and 0.52bar. Pressure depends on rmp of launch. If i do 7000, pressure'll be about 0.65-0.7bar. I need 3-4seconds of lauching for receiving this pressure.

Please, let me do all the googling for you...

Considering that you have to modify the transmission from an MS6 to fit the diesel componentry, you're using the OEM MS6 transmission housing and sensors, so that shouldn't throw a CEL. That leaves you with the altered gearing, which you can input into ATR and alter your map to compensate. Of course, you might have some other sensors (non-emissions-related) that might get tripped up because some things are moving slower/faster than anticipated (e.g. ABS).

lag is big. This Mazda is for Drag.

You have been away to long in between videos man. On a fully prepped track it would be interesting what your 60ft time would be.
I love how the bikes let the pressure get to them seeing how you can launch and they go all front wheel up and have to abort the run...when they abort that's a win to you.

two weeks ago - it was last day without snow - we tested our Mazda.
3-4gears 30-200kmph. I and my mechanic. Car's weight was 1790kgs =3946,27
We tested boost off and 1.8 bar =26PSI. Temperature 8C. We've done 100-200kmph 7.5s. 100-150 3.0s every time.
Later i'll post grafics of power on 3 gear.

http://media.ffclub.ru/up85848_1a0d6cs-960.jpg

Boost off vs GTI ko4 turbo 330whp. I've started 30kmph,cause we tested 3-4gears from low rmp. Asked GTI to start run on 80kmph.

Why the re-rebuild out of curiosity?
Also; in this latest rebuild, did you leave the balance shaft in again?

Why are your sleeves below deck height? If anything, it should be the other way around.
