Default MS3 13.1 @ 103 w/ DP, I, and DR's

Yea yea I know this car isnt for drag racing-blah blah but I have fun doing it and got this car very close to the 12's with only a stainless works catless dp and Cobb SRI for power mods. Other mods include SU MM, TWM shifter, H&R springs, and 16" V6 mustang wheels with 225/50-16 Hoosier DR's. I accidentally ran the dr's at 24 psi (dont ask) and didnt know until I got home so I know I can better the 60ft. No other mods whatsoever and stock boost. I must admit I am very impressed with this car coming from nothing but rwd V8's. This car was supposed to be just a daily driver to get decent mileage but owning a shop its very hard not to screw around with what you drive. Anyways heres some pics along with the last dyno pulls I did with before and after the dp.

You talking about the side mounts? I check them every time I have the car on the lift but yea Ive read all the horror stories. If this is what your talking about which ones do you recommend?

I am also going to try out the WOT box and the correct tire press sometime next week to hopefully crack 12's.

So far I've been hearing great stories from just adding the TurbineTech Front motor mount in regards to engine stabilization.

Saw this on 24/7:
FMOS Racing - 1.858, 8.415@84.07, 13.080@107.55, (I, MM, DR), 750' ASL.
I dont know why more people dont run the ms3 with slicks.

Sorry no video but I will try to get something next time I go. And no there is no tuning whatsoever, stock boost, etc.

I am wondering how much abuse these axles can take also but TruBoost seems to be testing that just fine.

If you can remember, were you flat shifting on that run? What rpm did you launch from and what were your shift points?

Just for clarification, on the graph that you put up the 276whp stock and 286whp with wai and dp?
Sweet I never see any other speeds there-I will be there if I have the WOT box by then. The 276 pull was with Cobb intake and 286 with I,DP.

Yea I flatshifted on all my runs and best launch was about 3500 slipping the clutch briefly-basically almost a clutch dump. I shifted between 5500-5700.
I thought the numbers looked a little high too but my previous best with just intake and mm on stock tires was 13.7 @ 105 so the track times seem to prove the dyno #'s. Freak car I guess

Nice run...12's should be in your near future.

I am going to Ennis next month here in Dallas, and will run with the DR's... Also, by then I will have my FMIC, DP, and AP installed..Hoping I break 12's on my first run..

Anyone have any results from using a WOT box? I will be testing this out probably next fri at the track and I have heard claims of 2-3 tenths improvement but just wanted to get some first hand experiences. thanks

On your run with the stock tires, did you also launch at 3500? or did you go somewhere lower?

I ordered the damn thing a week ago direct from n2mb and still not even a shipping notice. Test and tune at the track here is wed and fri nights so as soon as it gets here I will be back at the track. Sucks that its getting alot hotter quick though.

Stock tires run was launched at 3000 slipping the shit out of the clutch and power shifting every gear except 2nd. That netted a 2.09 60 ft.

how do you like those drs?? i want to get mine soon but cant decide which one to get I want to get more than 2k from them....gona be daily driving on drs this summer

Great time for the mods, no need for a big mod list to run good times, just traction and a good drive. Hoping to be first 12sec MPS in Aus once my QTP's arrive. Goin to make a lot of people eat their words while im at it too.. OOh yeah LOL.

I would not recommend daily driving on these tires. They are far too soft and I would compare them to Mickey Thompson ET streets. For what you need I would stick to some Nitto 555R's or BFG DR's.

Just turned 16k miles and one year old yesterday. I would say I have around 20 passes total and when I was on stock tires that clutch would start smelling horrible at the track and would stink up my garage for 2-3 days but no slipping whatsoever and pedal feel is fine.

btw WOT box should be here today and install and new track times hopefully tomorrow!
