Went to import Faceoff
 

So I ended up going to import face off with a few guys and @nuprin503 @mtrunner and was in search to run some good times. Anyway here are some pics. Thanks nuprin503 for the pics!

I had two clean runs out of three. With a few more runs of dialing in the car 11's could have been had

Run1-12.34@116.03
Run2-12.6@113.00 missed 3rd
Run3-12.37@115.59

Wow cut some 1.8s and you'll pretty much be there. Taking some weight out would help but I fully understand wanting to run at full weight since you will be most of the time. Good shit

Can't watch the videos at work. What's wrong with your slicks that you need new ones? Didn't you just get them? Good times, you'll definitely drop some time with 60" improvement. My car must have really been hauling ass to trap 117 up here.

Found my old slips, it was 113 but non the less its still pretty decent at 6k feet

Got the slicks used with some passes on them so I think its time for some new rubber

Gotcha, I thought you had new ones. Were they spinning? Maybe you need a different size too. They look kind of narrow in your wheel wells compared to what I've seen on other cars.

YOu need much longer burn outs son!

Trust me man I know but when I started getting the slightest wheel hop my car would go into "limp mode" You really have to yard up on the e brake to keep from wheel hop :)

I had to take @driver311 advice....pump the brakes 3 or 4 times.......Rev to redline dump and hold at 5500 in 1st for a good 10-12 seconds then let off the ebrake and let her eat out.......

You can sit in place pretty well the whole burnout maybe have to straighten it out but thats about it.

I was anywhere from 13psi-16psi.

11-13 psi was the sweat spot for me.

Yea i'm down in the 11-13 range also.. you can see my whole process in this vid..
My 60' in this was 1.809. I still have some room for improvement.. This was also my first time trying the launch control. Seems to help me be consistent once you get it dialed in..
I made 5 different maps.. same maps different LC points.. if i was too high id just re flash to the map with a lower LC.

Driver311 was able to get 1.7's on the hosiers.. so we should be able to also!

What was your LC at in the vids?
