There is no oil drain line in the kit. Only an AN-10 fitting.

Can you please post how you rigged the oil drain line once the turbo goes in? The fitting is custom I assume and clears the T-case?

On the rear Bills I am going to try a few different valving combinations. Also want to try the COB (compression only bypass) shims that Bilstein has for these. At some point I might buy the double adjustable shafts. But they are about $340 a piece and if you get the valving right aren't really needed. They are fucking kewl as shit though and easily interchangeable. The bushings for the hem joints on the housings I had to fabricate pictured below would still work.

For the fronts I don't know yet. Might do the OTS Bils converted to take apart. I am gonna wait and see how yours come out.

In case anyone needs to know, although I doubt it, the bushings need to be exactly 23mm wide for both the lower and the upper brackets. M12 bolt.

Hmmm...what I think you're telling me is that I can invert the OTS Bils in the rear to save some unsprung weight....just need those fancy boots you have so it doesn't collect dirt. I've thought about converting to spherical bearings in my bilsteins, but I didn't measure the mounts when I had the bilsteins sitting here, and I don't think they're legal for my class, anyway.

My bils are supposedly going to be finished this week, but I don't have high hopes for this actually happening.

Very cool stuff, excited to see another MS6 with a nice setup.

Yes sir!

Dropped the tranny. Changed clutch to ferramic / kevlar.
Dropped T-case. Exchanged shafts with CX-7 T-case.
Mounted tranny back on (you may interpret that anyway you want)
Rerouted heater hoses to clear terboh WG actuator.

Currently in the process of mounting turbo and routing cooling water lines to and from turbo. Also oil drain line back into block. I now know why you wanted to see how I route the oil drain line. There is nothing aftermarket as far as AN fitting you can use on the block that will clear the T-case. All you can is chop the OEM piece and somehow have a hose joining that upstream. I will post pics of it later.








This is an experiment I did. Took an MS3 slave cylinder to the 6. The pedal feel was about 75% less. But it did not travel enough to completly release the TOP from puting pressure on the fingers of the clutch plate. The piston OD of the MS3 slacve is about twice that of the MS6 and it only works with the master cylinder of the MS3 which probably also has a bigger piston than the MS6 and so pushes a lot more fluid.

Okeedokee.
It is done.
Car runs. This terboh is pure awesome sauce. Response is almost same as stock turbo. Got a new clutch so still breaking that in.
Damn steering column got separated when I dropped the subframe. What a pain in the ass to get that back in. Decided to dismount the whole steering wheel unit instead of dropping the subframe again. Juggling the steering unit with one hand while trying to stab the spline shafts of the column provided tons of joy.

Some more advancements.

Ron Davis Rad installed. This thing is massive. 36mm core thickness compared to the 16mm core thickness of the stock one. Should be much better than the Koyo rad I have on the 3 which only has a marginally thicker core.
Also started fucking around with the FMIC.

So the fucking tab is off on yours too.... If you feel like it, call Bill Williamson at Ron Davis at 1-800-842-5166 -- he wanted a very accurate measurement of the tab spacing on our cars, up to a 1/1000" I think, something I could not provide him with.

Lemme see if I get this.
The tab is in the wrong place.
Vendor wants customer to do the legwork for correcting the problem.
Customer does not get anything in return.

My idea of a vendor customer relationship seems to be all wrong for thinking that the vendor should get off their fucking ass and find an MS6 shroud they can measure themselves.

The FR mani comes with a T25 flange which fits the T25 turbine housing on the 7163.
No Tial housing needed here.
