No, you would have to chop something up.

I have not looked into the exact location, but if you eliminate the evap system from under the spare tire hump, maybe you could route air underneath through that area?

On the turbo gasket I ended up having using Inconel 625 as a material. Bought a sheet of ebay and had a guy cut them with a water jet. The sheet was good enough for 4 pieces and everything ended up costing about $80 for all the gaskets which isn't bad.
The original EFR gasket is standard stamped SS which might seal great but does not hold very long with track use. The other options would have been copper, which might have worked, or graphite which would have sealed best of all but would not have been very durable IMO.



Had another track day yesterday. Temps were around 85 and engine coolant temps went up to a max of 220 with the SP63 fan controller having then fans run at 100% duty cycle, the rear radiator water pump running, and the oil cooler fan running. I am ok with this as the temps really only got that high after about 20 minutes of driving like an animal. It was so bad I deformed another front tire so I only got 2 runs in the morning. Probably not going to run again this summer as there are a few things I want to get done before going back out.

Suspension: The FSDs are way underdamped for the 550 lbs front and 250/500 rear spring rate I am running. They work great on the street and provide a very plush ride + reasonably tight handling but over bumps at high speeds like in Sebring the car just gets too floaty.

I opened up a used FSD damper trying to see if the piston and valving system could be retrofitted into a monotube but it would just take too much work. There are also zero available resources on the web on how one go about tuning them. It's just too much of a project to take one with questionable potential.











I also replaced the bushing on the front forward LCAs and the boots for the ball joints.





While I was at it I planned on cutting myself some poly bushings for the steering rack but they OEM bushings are fairly stiff so I just re-ordered OEM even though they were still in perfect shape.









Another little test I ran was to try and fit rear CX-7 rotors on the 6. the rear CX7 rotors are about the same OD as the 6 but they are ventilated. Unfortunately the offset of the rotors is different and there is no easy way to modify the stock 6 caliper, or use a CX7 caliper on the rear knuckles of the 6.

And finally something else I noticed. The CX-7 PS fluid reservoir has a raised opening which might prevent fluid from spilling over when the system gets hot. I can't use on the 6 due to my FMIC piping location but others might be able to.

That's some crazy coolant temps. I have one more road racing run this weekend before I take off for the summer, it is supposed to be around 95 F, I will see what my coolant temps will be like, but they should stay around 190-200.

It looks like the FSD uses orifice type valving, like the koni yellows.

10 at 6k, 11.25 at 6.5k, 12.50 at 7k, 21 psi of boost.

But I also have an aggressive ECT/BAT table, for example, pull 3.5 degrees of timing at 158 BAT and 212 ECT (less for lower values obviously, but no less than 1.2 degrees).

The condenser is gone and I am running 1 quart of 50/50 coolant mix, half a bottle of water wetter, and the rest distilled water.

Tomas i believe is on a larger turbo, it would be better to compare mass air flow than pressure and timing, more air = more fuel = more boom = more heat

So I've been checking out the pictures/videos of yours (Tomas) and @Code Monkey;'s cars to try and figure out what engine parameters you're monitoring via gauges. And from what I can tell, not much.
The only thing I've personally wanted to add was an oil temp gauge, water temp, and maybe a boost gauge when I go BT. The temps are a concern now that I'm running all summer, and boost will be concern once I move beyond the K04. Otherwise I can't really think of anything that I'd want to be noting mid-run to shut it down before the engine popped.
Am I missing something obvious here?

I log everything and display boost, BAT, AFR, fuel pressure, KR, and ECT. I only look at ECT during my sessions though, and only on the main straight. An oil temp and pressure gauges would be nice.

I think on MS6 temp gauges for engine oil, transmission and t-case are good ideas. The rear diff runs so cool it isn't really needed but it doesn't hurt.

Imo oil pressure and coolant temp are most important. Oil temp is really something to log and check later. A stable setup shkuld have oil temps similar to water temp.

Good call on the oil pressure. Totally overlooked that one. And while a stable setup won't see oil temp issues, I'm still not convinced my engine isn't going to pop at every event. It's why I got the AAA upgrade; track is 65 miles from home and I'm sure I'll use that 100 mile radius towing one of these days...

I've got 3 events, some 2-day, in October. So I'm giving the car a solid beating right up until the end of the season.

I find that higher RPM tends to warm the oil up faster than boost will.
