Also, I've changed the location of where the meet will be headquartered... by a state.

The meet will take place in South Haven, MI... or near.

I've already contacted the owner of a local import tuning/fabrication shop, and he's down with using their facility for the dyno day. I've been in contact with the guys at CGI, and I'll post up more info when I hear back from them. As for the drag strip, there's 2 I've contacted about renting out the track for the event.

Ima update the OP with the new info.

We're moving it to MI?? Is the dyno shop you're referring to still A-spec, or are you saying they were booked and you're talking to a different shop now? In South Haven?

Just seems weird for us to headquarter it closer to Gingerman unless we're doing more than one event over there...

With stops, 22hrs, also if you count the time zone change it's like 24hrs. Get Paul to come with you, and stop off somewhere in STL for the first night. I'm sure a Nator STL guy could prob let you crash there for a night.

I did the drive from Dustin's to STL, in one stint by myself... not doing that again lol.

Springfield is always my stopping point when going to Cleveland. That's farther than halfway, but time-wise it is halfway based on speed limits. It's still a long drive into St Louis from there. That's a rough trip. I've driven straight through to Cleveland once. 24hours. Never again.

I did the trip from my door to @jmhinkle; and @PapaSmurf;s door in almost exactly 16 hours by myself in one day

Im Doing what i can to fly out, but with the new dates thats the same time one of our other guys takes his anual vacation for two weeks so Im not sure if I'll be able to go now.

This is gonna have to take some serious sweet talking of the boss for this. Ill keep you posted @PapaSmurf; as of right now brandonf; was talking about going along with a couple other VA guys, and if thats the case i might just drive it but not sure.

But if I do fly in to NM (which i would love to do) we should stop in Kansas City and get some KC BBQ!

Chicago is about 4 1/2 - 5 hours from me, south haven is about 7

@matt diamond; The place I had make the Nator IA shirts is up and running again so when your ready to see about getting shirts made or design and what not hit me up. Also anything else I can do to help get things organized. I have a desk job so making phone calls to places trying to get rates and stuff I can for sure help with

so far.....we have 4 vendors (including our local vendor @Deldran; ) wanting to print for EMWNM. The design will be chosen first, vendors will bid, best bid wins. the fact that 2 of the vendors are local MI vendors DOES give them an advantage. if we're to have EMWNM in MI in the future, good business practices and foundations with local vendors will be set now rather than later.

we are not yet ready for the design thread.....stand by for that.
