San Antonio members

Looking for some locals here in San Antonio to meet up, talk mods and maybe do some group installs or exterior changes (vinyl, hids etc...) Fathers day is coming up and I plan on making a purchase any day now. I'm near 281/Thousand Oaks. Stationed at Camp Bullis right now and should be here for at least another 18 months. I have garage space but limited tools although I'm sure we can figure it out. Either way, I just want to get something going.

Ive seen about 4 Mazda speeds around Lackland AFB...noone look like they have anything done to them.

Black Mica 2010 MS3 - might be an MTI? I always see the car at the TG building and one of the BMT TRS.
Red gen1 MS3 - off base..but same area
White gen1 MS3

I doubt theyre on MSF cause none of them look or acknowledge me when I drive by.

I saw a badass red gen2 on the 410 when I was visiting from Fort Worth. It had a drop, black wheels, and the blacked out emblems. It looked pretty sweet so it might have had some other work done too.

At Frost Bank in the Medical Center I saw a Silver Gen1 with 19 inch enkei RPF1's and Hankook tires. Pretty sweet looking. I walked back inside to see who it belonged to, but no one stood out as the obvious owner, and I wasn't about to start asking random people.

I'm pretty sure I've actually seen 2 white MS3s on Lackland (and now I make 3 )

If the red Gen1 has aftermarket black wheels, it's a guy who works on Kelly USA and then there is a guy with a blue Gen2 who also works on Kelly.

I have a 06 MS6, Black. Mostly stock at this point, although previous owner put on some 18" 5-spoke Kazeras, black with silver lip/hub. Probably will go with SRI/TIP/DP and AP soon, doing mounts and such first.

You may see me on the NW side. Soon will be working in the Quarry marketplace area.

Wish I had seen about the meet a couple weeks ago...could have made it out.

I've seen a couple MS6 around, including one silver right near my apt complex going into the "Summerwood" subdivision. Also saw another silver on I-10 access near DeZavala, possibly same one. Haven't seen any MS3 that I remember.

Weekly is a bit much... Maybe a monthly meet doing the same thing. I hate Thursdays though.... Maybe a Friday out of every month ?

Hey, I'm new to the forum, and live in New Braunfels. Got a 2010 MS3S, with intake and exhaust. Black with blacked emblems and taillights. Everything was done by previous owner, but wouldn't mind doing a drive out in the hillcountry or other nice roads around san antonio.

Last weekend I did three sisters (335, 336, 337) out west of Kerrville. Its a little far for a day trip but the roads are so worth it.

Saw 2 MS6 today (Saturday 5/1) while driving around picking up stuff for the restaurant...one silver in Quarry market, pulled up to Cali Pizza Kitchen, then one DeZavala and I-10, Black MS6 with what looked like a Purdue 'P' on the center rear.

Saw a black gen1 MS3 yesterday (friday 4/30) pulling off I-10 near DeZavala, going to Logan's or Outback or something in that area.

Anyone wanna claim these? IDK if anyone saw me haha.

I've been watching out for speeds and finding 2 in 1 day was just bizarre.

DONT Got WOT under 2500rpm or so. DONT try to run better tunes with out upgrading your fuel Pump.


As for the track.....Oct 5th or 19th works for me. I like Wendsday nights because you get a lot of runs in...and not many VTTTTAAAKKK fools.

Its the TurboXS FMIC. I am hoping I can keep my CPE CAI. I no haz monies for SRI. I guess I need to check the placement and fit before I start pulling the bumper out...

Sheyat....he had fit issues... I have a slightly different kit. but yeah...looks like I will have to do some test fitment first. Thanks for the heads up!

Steady mid 1700's into 1800's. I'm using a Stage 1 OTS tune though. Haven't messed with any of the tables.
