My AC flywheel fell off a few weeks ago too! What did you end up doing? Did you find just the bolt, or was the compressor siezed up? I'm desparate here. Dealer wants like $1,500 to replace everything.

Here are a couple of pic of mine. In the quest for trying to find the right size bolt that fit in there i used a zip tie to figure out the depth of the hole which is about 2 inches at least that is where the zip tie stopped. The bolt hole is the same wight as the zip tie so it is a really small and short bolt...

| Not Ranked : 0 score AC CLUTCH BOLT PART# MAZDA OEM BOLTS
I found the bolt part #'s after some serious searching. As far as the washers go, I am just going to buy a variety and see which work best. Here are the Part #'s BP4K-61L14 and GJ6A-61-L14 They are both bolts for the AC compressor clutch. Dealer was unsure which one was needed (EVEN THEY DON'T KNOW!) so I ordered both. They wanted to charge me $90 bucks to diagnose the problem as I handed them the damn part that fell off...diagnosis in hand. REMEMBER: You also need a couple washers too to get the shimming of the magnetic clutch right. Go to Genuine Mazda Parts at Wholesale Prices and search by part #. They're 3 and 4 bucks a piece....might be a good idea to order extras! Couldn't find the washers on there. Best of luck with this BullS**t problem! TORQUE A DAMN BOLT MAZDA!!!! |

Mine fell off back in the day.... I used some random 10mm bolt I had lying around. Put a little loctite on it and it was golden. I was lucky and found my clutch sitting on the undertray.
