Boost Air Temp

WTF is wrong ?
Today when I started the car it was 0C ambient temp but my DashDyno read -22C of boost air temp ?? During the ride to my parents (about 15 minutes) DD reading rised to +1C. I wasn't boosting and never crossed 3000 rpm (I'm babying the car when it's not warmed up). So why ECU reads 20 degrees less than ambient when off boost ?
When I was going back it was OK. I mean ambient still 0C but boost air temp went from +16C when off boost to -5C when boosting.

Do you have an upgraded intercooler?

What you were observing is normal.

I know that the ambient temp and boost temps are different but boost temp (without boosting, revving below 3000) should be highier (as it was when I was going back after some 45 minutes) on a warming engine. Besides how it can be lower than ambient when you are stationary ? Isn't it MAP sensor that shows boost temp ?
Sometimes on a warm day when ambient is +14 (or something like that) when I start the engine it shows -2 boost temp.
I'm on stock intercooler.

Your bat/map sensor could be no good. Mine was way off this winter and i finally threw a code for it and replaced it now bat are reading normal numbers.

EDIT . Ok I just checked and you get a code if the bat is like 30 degrees more than the engine coolant when the car starts, but your bat is lower?? so nnow I wonder if it is your dashdaq?? can you try using someone elses dashhawk or ap to check??

That's what I thougth. I've cleaned it last summer (bit PITA trying to slip your hand through throttlebody ... ;-) ). It was fookin dirty, covered with oil or something.

Its pretty easy to remove the MAP-might to be easier to take it out to clean it
