| ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm still gonna say battery. While mine did not test fine when it let go, it exhibited the same symptoms. It would only start on a jump and all my electronics would cut out for about a second on takeoff. New battery fixed it. As you know, cold destroys batteries, and mine died like that overnight where the day before it was working perfectly.

| ![]() ![]() ![]() Once the engine is running, the battery does nothing. Electronics going glitchy on take-off shouldn't be battery related.

| ![]() ![]() ![]() If the battery is so dead it can't hold enough voltage to keep everything going in the car, I would imagine it would cause this. Again I have no proof, but I believe that's what happened in my case. Granted, mine was so dead that as soon as I shut off the car, it had no electronics at all. I had to manually lock the doors.

| ![]() ![]() ![]() Once an engine is running, you can remove the battery and everything will be fine...if the alternator is good.

| ![]() ![]() ![]() If the alternator is bad, you usually get a battery light on your dash. This means the system voltage is low. I'm not sure at what voltage that light is triggered. Put a volt meter on your battery with engine off, should be around 12v. Do it again with engine running, should be over 14v.
