Default Oil Leak - Thoughts on Source?

I need to put the car on ramps to look at it more closely, but has anyone else had a oil leak on the driver side that dripped behind the wheel? Motor has 94k and is all stock.

Can you see any oil looking in your engine bay if your filter is out?

I have the same leak. Mine appears to be coming from the steering rack, but it's not major enough for me to do something about it.

I smell a troll.

I don't use oil, I use KY jelly. Sometimes I spring for silicone based lubes when I don't blow all my money on banging escorts.

Couple quarts of this will do perfect. It says mazda on the bottle and it's oil, can't get better than that.

Why, the leak isn't major enough for you to do anything about it, so why worry?

Because I've yet to see a thread addressing this issue and quite honestly I don't know what's wrong or if it'll get worse. Even if it's not enough for me to rush into it this second, I'd prefer to still gain some knowledge/information about a potential problem as that's what this forum's about. A thread like this doesn't deserve dumpster fire status because the OP posed a legitimate question, and this could still serve as someone's help in the future.

Not entirely sure if I'm correct here but are the control arm bushings liquid filled? If so then it's probably time to replace them. Mercedes uses a liquid filled bushing much like that one. Do you have any abnormal sounds coming from the front end?

Default Update

I put the car on ramps last night expecting to find oil spewed everywhere and didn't see a drop minus what was in the picture. Turbo oil return line was dry as was the bottom of the trans and engine. ....I haven't noticed any abnormal sounds from the front end, but if the bushing is oil filled then it might be time to replace it.
