(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So, car was running great before 4 days, but now when going WOT in any gear past ~10-12PSI of boost I hear some strange whistling noise from around turbo. Also, my AFRs are rich 10.XX, and they should be at around 11.XX. Strange thing is that I get some serious KR when my AFRs starts to get rich.. There is no KR when driving partial-WOT. I have attached two 3rd gear logs, first log is full RPM range, but in second I left throttle because of high KR. What do you think is my exhaust leaking, post or pre turbo? I have checked and there is no boost leak.. I would appreciate any input. Thanks. edit: In logs there is not calculated boost pressure, to get it you need to minus 14.5PSI from manifold pressure, but as I said there is no boost leak and boost pressure looks nice as It was before that whistling noise

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Fixed! It was exhaust leak where exhaust manifold connects to turbo, two studs were out. Didn't took any logs, but whistling is gone

| Not Ranked : 0 score Great you found the leak. Not sure if the KR is associated. The fueling richens up because of the knock detected. Did you buy gas from a different source? If the KR is still there drop me a log in an e-mail and I will take a look at it.

I will take some logs later today and see if KR is gone. Also 3BAR MAP is installed and everything seems fine. We can continue discussion via mail.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Found this thread in a search; two of my turbo/manifold studs are missing as well, and I've had this "shriek" for awhile now. However I've also noticed a decrease in total airflow; did you see that as well?

| Not Ranked : 0 score loose parts an mimic engine knock under certain conditions. also lost exhaust gasses before the turbo will drop boost psi due to the fact that the turbo is receiving less exhaust gasses for spool up

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm still meeting boost targets, but total airflow is down. Also AFR is off but that's an obvious thing. Leak is before the primary O2 sensor.
