(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Strange rattling sound... since this afternoon my car makes a strange sound. It's a kind of rattling noise which can be heard clearly in engine idle state (and is loudest when the fan runs). In the engine bay the noise is not as loud as you can hear it directly in front of the right wheel (driver's side). In front of the other wheel you don't hear any clatter!? Any ideas???

Think OP really means left side. The drivers side. OP, vehicle side is always from sitting in the car. As far as the noise, the only thing there is the intake air box as far as I know. Maybe it's loose?

It seems that the rattling is because of the release bearing and flywheel of my new 6 pad ACT clutch.
