Default can someone help me

Ive got an 03.5 MSP with 18x8 rx-8 wheels and 215/35/r18 tires. I want to get the biggest tire on there that i can get without doing much modification. i was hoping to get a 225/40/r18 on but im not sure its gonna fit without rubbing the fenders. car is at stock ride height. thanks in advance to everyone.

I personally think you will rub using an 8" rim. I know people in the past ran 235 on a 17X7

I think the biggest you can go without rolling your fenders is 17x7.5......if you go a inch smaller you may be able to get an 8" rim on there.

^Truth. With an 8 inch rim, you'll prolly have to roll your fenders. With the wrong offset, you'll need to roll your fingers with a 7.5...

Besides, w/ 8 inches, you're probably gonna lose some steering feel anyway.
