(Thread Starter) |  New Batmobile captured near Detroit set  Filming of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is underway in Detroit, with discreetly snapped pictures of stars Ben Affleck (Batman) and Henry Cavill (Superman) becoming increasingly common fixtures on the social media of Detroiters. Rather than get another snap of Affleck walking into the gym or restaurant, though, one Instagrammer has captured what are believed to be the first images of the Dark Knight's new ride. Meet the followup to the Christopher Nolan trilogy's Tumbler. It doesn't have a name, but it looks to borrow several styling cues from the tank-like Batmobile that was last seen in The Dark Knight Rises, notably the huge rear tires and angular bodywork. MTV, meanwhile, points out that there are some nods to the Batmobile from the Tim Burton era, which we can see in the front track and aggressive nose. Regardless, the new car, which was captured near the Detroit set, looks suitably badass. We can't wait to see it in action.
