(Thread Starter) | ![]() Attending European auto shows like this week's Paris expo always makes me kind of jealous of the things offered in other markets. Funny little MPVs, hot hatches of all shapes and sizes, and just generally weird stuff are plentiful here, but we'd never, ever see these things in the States. And among the wares not often found in our market that are of particular interest, to me, are lifted wagons, like the new Seat Leon X-Perience on display here. Sure, America has had its share of things like Volvo Cross Country models and even the occasional Audi Allroad (you could even make the argument for the much larger Subaru Outback), but in Europe, there are plenty more to choose from. This Seat, for example, is a handsome offering, with the typical dark cladding outlining the base of the body, with increased ground clearance, and more prominent wheel arches housing 17- or 18-inch rollers. Seat will offer its Leon X-Perience with either a 1.8-liter turbocharged inline-four, or a duo of diesels, in 1.6- and 2.0-liter four-cylinder variants - all familiar engines from other Volkswagen Group products. I have to imagine a 2.0 TDI X-Perience would be a particularly awesome daily driver - rugged and sweet, but for now, just another delicious piece of forbidden fruit.Continue reading Seat Leon X-Perience is something we'd want to experience Seat Leon X-Perience is something we'd want to experience originally appeared on Autoblog on Fri, 03 Oct 2014 19:30:00 EST.
