|   Not Ranked : 0 score I don't know if they've done enough research for this to work yet... I'm willing to bet Elon Musk has deeper pockets than them. They are claiming ~ double what the newly released Telsa P85D puts down (691 hp)... I doubt they will be able to push that kind of amperage with the same voltage (1 MW | ~400 V | 2,500A). The batteries, just can't do it. Higher voltage is the answer, but it would still take 1,000 V to get amps down to a still outrageous 1,000 A. I'm not getting my hopes up at all...
