First Drive: 2015 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT

Aston Martins are known for being many things, but affordable is not one of them. While the 2015 V8 Vantage is hardly within the reach of most, its sub-$100k starting price and driver-focused mission makes it an intriguing proposition for people who might otherwise look at Porsche 911s and high-spec Chevy Corvettes. Our man Michael Harley drives it in Germany and finds it to be delightfully tactile and 'old school.'


Jeep Cherokee: June Long-Term Update


We've only had our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk a month, but it's becoming a fast friend thanks to its capability, interior refinement, and strong infotainment technologies. We're even getting used to the way it looks. Sort of. We've logged over 4,000 miles already and have a boatload of early impressions to share, including thoughts on its controversial nine-speed automatic transmission.


Nissan Cube discontinued after 2014


Despite company officials being unwilling to confirm it, Autoblog has learned that Nissan is discontinuing its enigmatic Cube in the States at the end of this model year. The funky compact has been on sale in the US for six years, but never really managed to attract major sales. Attracting stares, meanwhile, has never been a problem.
