Crap, I forgot about that. I've got a black MS3, but I've driven a Bike (bikecycle for you 40 yr old virgin fans) for the past 2 years at college, and before that a 95 dodge minivan that was gray. I guess we'll just be washing often. I'll probably rinse it often too, I mean the stuff only drops for what, a month?

If you got a good coat of wax on there. You should be able to simply rinse off the pollen every day. But you gotta keep up with it.

DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss, no rinse car wash, concentrated no rinse wash, quick detail spray, waterless wash

Use this daily as a quick detailer. If it's just pollen and light dust, doing this every morning will keep your car looking shiny every singe damn day of ownership. Just make sure you don't use the QD as a replacement for a weekly/bi weekly washing.

Just parked under a tree overnight last night and my BLACK Ms3 was covered in pollen. From now on I'll be parking in the parking garage across the street and just doing bi-weekly washes.

That yellow shit sucks and sticks no matter what. Get one of those California dusters. That's worked pretty well for me.

I'd recommend a sealant instead of a wax (carnauba) during pollen season. There's really nothing else you can do. Once you have a sealant on there, and as long as you don't scrub the paint with it, you should be good to go using a California Car Duster.

I personally wouldn't trust the car duster on the paint. The duster's fibers themselves don't scratch, but if there's any dirt or other abrasives on your paint you'd just be dragging it around and marring your paint.

The California Duster is a life saver for the heavy pollen season down here in FL. I love it.

Yeah...pollen is a pain in the ass, the Black RX-8 I had for a year had to be wiped down or washed at least twice a week, and waxed once every week or so in order to keep it looking good during the summer here in MI. Eventually I basically resorted to keeping it in the garage and not parking out on the street if I had the option.

The California dusters are great as long as you wash them frequently. Otherwise, you're paint's couch will definitely get fucked.
