Question HPFP internals question

I bought a used HPFP internals, and they are sitting in a plastic baggy. I can not install them on my car yet and I want to know is it safe to leave them sitting in the baggy for a couple months, or should I add some oil in there to keep them lubed up??

I would coat them in some fresh motor oil to prevent surface rust from forming....

Thank you kindly...@Jake5713 because I'm going to add on all the parts at once instead of one at a time....

I can understand putting a bunch of parts on at once but if you have a leak or a CEL than you have to go back and check a bunch of things. Maybe I'm just a pessimist.

^ I'm with you, put one part on make sure it's good then continue onto the next mod. If something gets fucked up you have to guess what it is that's causing it.

Plus that way you can keep the mod bug at bay but putting them over a period of time!

The internals are not relevant to installing anything else on your car, and they will not be easier to install while doing anything else... except maybe a TIP... just saying
