I've got mine and I'm shipping them off to Dano because I'm going with the safe seals.

IDK what you guys are talking about...its fun to remove the IM, rail and injectors....lol

I'll guinea pig them when I do all my other spring cleaning tasks...the list keeps growing and I sure would like to remove the OE IM and put the JMSD IM on so that may effect my timing.

so fuel system upgraded with seals, studs, FP sensor and HPRV.

if the seals don't work out oh well....its just a wasted weekend

Now, that's the spirit!)
I beleive you guys will be satisfied with the seals, we have same cars with just different ECUs, headlights and gauges.

For about 10k miles on a ~400hp car. Everything gets broken on it, except for these seals and the KW V2 suspension.

still not understanding is that the verdict 10,000 miles @ 400whp really would like to save 172 dollars if these seals do the same damn thing as Safe Seals, even if they may need to be replaced at around 15k I would be down. I find reasons to take shit apart on my car anyways

Found out why shipping was so expensive:

I should have told them an envelope would have sufficed.

yeah I was just thinking the "gold" coating might be stronger than the HD coated seals but I really have no idea...hahaha gold always looks better that sliver anyway right?

My gf and i just started moving out of our house last weekend (~85% moved right now), so we can sell it. I have to focus on getting my ms6 up and running first and foremost... and then i need to wrap up the fueling stuff. After that, i may have a chance to get them on.

So...... interpreting that with my excuse-o-goggles.... i'd say like 2 months, lol.

Those other ones look more bronze then gold, so the ones you got are a place better.

I'll probably throw em on in the next few weeks though. My 3 is already starting to exhibit false KR in the higher rpms, and i can smell exh/fuel after boosting some.
Ya know my car always smells like gas from the engine bay when I have it in the garage and I never could figure out what was causing it. I never go WOT anymore cause I dont like my tune on my SB as I get KR which didnt make sense as it runs great and has good AFR but I never really take logs. So could it be that mine are bad? I wonder...
And BTW I am pulling the SB out and going with an AP when I can afford one but thinkint if my seals are bad I need to get that taken care of before I get it tuned...

just ordered 4 from A1 toyota in New haven. Well be installing when the arrive. Thinking I should do a IM gasket while I have it off. Maybe port the intake this time but need to fine cheep tools to do it with (as it flapper sanders, I have dremel and air tools, just not the proper bits). Ive already ported the lump, removed VTCS and EGR and made it look pretty. Just didnt think it was worth porting and still not sure.
This is what I did last time:

Sorry to thread crap here sort of, but anyone that is going to the time to remove the IM should consider doing VTCS delete, EGR delete, OCC, porting etc...
So I figure I will do some porting of the IM this time, but I need to get the tools to do it. What should I buy? Just those sander flapper wheels? and from where. Couldn't find much info on this as I only remember whoosh saying he used those sander flapper wheels. Any info or a link to a post would be appreciated. Also will have to learn how to install these seals, but im sure I can find posts on that...
TIA

well I got mine and I'm not sure they are right...I have never held an injector in my hand but these have the circumference of a ball point pen...is this correct?

I would think they need to be more the size of a quarter...lol

O I C.

these just fit over the injector and seat right at that first step up whereas SafeSeals do that and extend up that next step or two.

edit: the ID of these are right at 8mm or .3"

edit2: you know what they say a picture is worth.
