Default Low Fuel pressure @ Idle w/Cp-e HPFP

So my idle pressure typically is in the normal range 415-430 range.. but after driving hard or doing a pull the idle pressure drops to 380-395 range... This was happening before turbo, and on several different maps..

Any ideas?

Again this is a cp-e HPFP.

Thanks in advance.

Mines dipped lower than that at idle.. I wouldn't be to worried about it. Now if you start dropping that low at WOT then you have problem.. evening just coasting when driving down the highway i'll see my fp drop to around 450-600. Tap the gas and back to 1700psi.

380-395 is normal at idle under certain conditions. Nothing to worry about.

Yea, I had the same probelm, but like stated, I tap the gas and it instantly jumps to about 1700. By far the best mod for the car.

Idle is set @ 850..

i am now concerned about my FP staying high (1800+) after a hard pull.. after i let off and i decell until i blip the throttle it stays at about 1800. Could be normal.. never noticed it before..

Anyone ever figure out what causes this? Noticed this also, after a hard run, or getting on it, fuel psi is 350-400 when I'm stopped at idle, and gradually works it way back to 410-430psi.

here too. pretty sure its normal. if your FP drops below 1600 at WOT, then you have problems.

When you engine brake, the car will command 0 PSI for whatever reason, and under certain conditions it will actually drop below 200 PSI because of it. Compare commanded to actual pressure in the log, and if lower, check fuel trims to see if it's actually causing issues.

Because 0psi = great mileage.

Not talking about engine braking. I'm talking about being completely stopped idling.

I have never seen a datalog command 0 psi, the lowest I have ever seen is 291 psi.

Now, I have seen IDC drop to 0, but never fuel pressure (commanded).

Any ideas?

Again this is a cp-e HPFP.

Thanks in advance.
This is common, pressure drops after a hard pull clutch out will drop to that level. Nothing to worry about.

Everyone sees IDC drop to 0 when engine braking. First time I had commanded pressure drop to ITFP pressure I almost shit my pants as I was at the track racing. It ran fine afterwards, and the next day it happened again; fortunately, I caught the event in logs at the track and realized the ECU was being gaytarded.

I did some mods tonight and flashed a stage 1 map just to keep things straight. I installed Autotech internals, Cobb SRI, HTP TIP, and a SU TMIC. Still running stock DP and exhaust. I logged fuel pressure all the way home just to see how things were going and never went WOT. I have a few readings in the 260-280 range. I am attaching my log. Is this normal?

I don't think you guys are understandIng what I am saying is the issue. I know fuel psi when coasting will be high 200s anytime.

I am talking about after doing an aggressive pull, and completely stopped at idle, fuel psi can be anywhere from 340 to 400, and slowly work it's way back to 410, 430.

I actually just saw this on a stock tune genpu I helped put internals in today; only this happened at idle pretty much any time. If this is normal, it makes me feel better about my work lol

FWIW I had autotechs on my 2010 and it was ALWAYS around 400-420 at idle under ANY conditions.. Installed brand new autotech on my 2012 and just this morning saw 370-420 after driving... I guess its okay from what I am reading
