Default PRI and DeatschWerks

Stopped by multiple injector booths at PRI, but specifically DeatschWerks gave me some promising, unprompted info. Here's how the conversation went, after the friendlies:

Me- "Are you guys working on any direct injection solutions for aftermarket?"

DW- "We're working on mazdaspeeds right now"

Me- "Really? That's great, I have a mazdaspeed and I need 'em already!"

DW- "Yeah we've gotten a lot of phone calls on them"

They pointed out their in-tank drop in replacement pump that requires no modification vs. the walbro which requires sacrificing the surge can, said they developed it in conjunction with Cobb........so maybe Cobb is working with DW on injectors? @Evan@COBB @David@COBB are you guys at liberty to comment?

Most other shops said they don't do any performance direct injection. A few shops only did rebuilds of factory shit.

All in all, it was a pretty badass show.

i aslo asked every manufacture at the show about DI injectors..
seems like they are all scared to touch them..DI injectors area pain in the ass from what i gathered from them. But sooner or later these companies are going to have to make injectors cuz all cars are going DI .

Wait till you get old and grizzled, and you need to clamp jumper cables to each nut to get them to fire off. It's the best.
