I know it was discussed at the begging, but then I didn't pay attentions for 6 years and now I'm back. That looks to be stock throttle body location. Is that correct?

It places the TB in a slightly different location then stock, most likely you can just adjust your piping/couplers and it should fit, no major modifying should be needed. We tried to keep the TB in the same position but with the larger intake it just wouldnt work.

If you check out the other manifolds he offers, there are options for meth nozzles, or port injection bungs, or what ever else that can be dreamed up. He will actually incorporate almost anything with in reason, just let him know at the time of ordering.

In an effort to keep everything as bolt up as possible, and increase the volume of the plenum we had to move the location about an inch. There might be enough wiggle room in the couplers to make it fit, but worse case the TB piping might have to altered. Lets face it, if a person is this far into a build to need/want an intake manifold, a minor modification to an I/C is very minimal.

Yes...exactly. Mine is even in a slightly different location, I have the TXS FMIC and there was plenty of room to adjust piping and couplers to make it work just fine.

Right now, stock, but the inlet elbow is a full 3", and we made it so a larger/different TB can mate to the elbow. The flange for the stock TB is tapered for a smooth transition to the 3" elbow.

Definitely excited for this. Does this sit higher in the engine bay than the stock IM? The reason I am asking is just wondering if there will be enough clearance for a hotpipe that comes over the passenger side of the IM (GenPU)?

The plenum is different than mine. I am sure it will sit a little different, but since I have not seen it on the car yet, I cannot be sure how it interacts with the i/c piping on the 2nd gen.

dturboman either has very good connections or sucks a mean dick. Because apparenty, while having done nothing to help JMF produce or fit this manifold, will be receiving the first one.
Yet trf5000 had left his car there for several months along with myself leaving my car there for only a week and we've heard nothing....I can understand he's got a very well built car, but seriously?

Now I'm not saying grab your pitchforks but if the info I've been given is true I'm about fed the fuck up.

Dont be sad you will be getting one soon too... I was just in the right place at the right time, The car should be up at JMF later this week to have the mani put on and then back to the dyno for some testing to see what kinda gains we have.

since this manifold flows well over 1000cfm to show the true potential of this manifold it needs to be tested on something that can flow a lot, My setup will be able to push the manifold.

How did you hear I was getting it? I thought noone knew.

Look at it this way, if you were bringing a manifold to market would you want the first one on a 700 hp car or a 300 hp car? The man is simply doing what will help him sell more manifolds.

Look on the plus side, if it works for the 100 pounds of boost dturboman will be running it will work really well on your setup.

It is what it is guys, lets just see what numbers this manifold produces and go from there... I mean you never know... this is still in beta mode and who knows how it will respond to large airflow.. it may gain nothing, it may gain a lot or it might still have unforeseen problems.

If it makes great gains then perfect it will be in market soon after... if it does nothing then it saves many of you the time and money of buying one and Gives Jim an idea of what he needs to do to make any needed fixes

I dunno why anyone's pissed about who gets it first, it's almost fucking September, 9 months after I first called it not getting done by Feb.............just be glad it's getting done and will be in production soon!

It is a two way street.

I can absolutely see both sides of the story here. I want the community to have a successful manifold, and I also want to see Tyler and Tom be rewarded for the time their car spent as a test fitter. In the end, I am sure Jim will make it right with all parties involved.

That said.....make a ton of power when you hit the dyno!!!

Tom, I have no doubt that Jim will take care of us. I was gonna offer mine up to a big turbo car for testing anyways. My K04 can't test shit, other than how high my BAT sensor can read.
