Default In-Tank Fuel Pressure Tester

so i made this handy dandy device for testing my ITFP. ive seen a ton of people who are having similar problems and this is the easiest way to test it. here's how im going to work this:

$50 deposit via paypal, you pay shipping both ways (also via paypal). if i get it back and its not broken, ill give u your 50 bucks back so its essentially free. send me a PM if your interested. also please return it within 7 days of getting it if someone else is waiting.

it just slips on your stock fitting on the CDFP so you dont have to drill/cut anything. if your cool like me you will tape it to the windshield and drive around to verify haha. you should have exactly 65psi at all times with no flutter (+/- 3psi is fine).

Useful mod for checking tank pressure. Lots of MS6 here suffer from the fuel filter being clogged. Actually it is not a filter - it is just a plastic grid, installed inside fuel pump assembly. MS6 does not have any more fuel filters!!!
FYI, CX7 does have it.

Here's link for anyone who would rather just buy the adapter:
Central Florida Motorsports, Inc.- Ford Fiesta Focus Mustang Performance Parts & - Fuel Rail Adapter

They accidentally sent me one for a cobra made for 3/8" fuel lines instead of our 5/16"... but it was a simple swap. So just be sure they send you the right one. It should fit straight on to the oem hpfp nipple, and the line fits on it.

Anthony, what did you use for thread seal? Teflon tape?

yah just teflon tape. afaik your not supposed to use a sealant on NPT fittings as that's the point of the thread taper but i did it just to be safe.

Plumbers use PTFE tape or paste all the time on NPT fittings. Fluid can still seep out around the threads on NPT fittings without a sealant.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll be ordering the adapter soon as I already have a FP testing gauge.
