(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score i was sort of inspired by this: Black Enkei RPF1s i don't want to do the same setup as him, because i want the same rims all around. i also will be staying on stock suspension because its my daily and potholes and shit blah blah. id like to slap some 255/40 gfg g-force kdw 2s BFGoodrich—g-Force T/A KDW 2 I have no problem doing a fender roll and cutting tabs or whatever other type of body work, except not a crazy pull or anything, but i want to AVOID camber. is this setup possible? I did read many many threads to find the answer, but couldnt find the same setup as myself. thanks in advance |

You can match that setup easily. You can run all four wheels at +45 with an 8mm spacer on the front if you need it. Then you can still rotate tires.

Not sure, start plugging numbers in here and bust out the tape measure to get a better idea.

You are not going to get that look without lowering. End of story.

how can you tell how wide it is? are you basically saying that a 255 is different for each tire?

ok so im thinking possibly doing a staggered setup. while it may look dumb, it will be much more functional. i want to get the widest possible tire for the rears without having to do camber (aggressive roll is perfectly fine) so im thinking possibly an 8.5 rim and 245 wheels and then very wire tires in the front. 9"rim still but maybe 265 or 275 if they fit. it wont look tooo terrible and may not even be noticable unless you really check. i'm also looking for an idea for a good tire. id like great traction of course, but i also need to be able to drive in the rain. i know the bf g-force kdw2s are great in the rain, but the traction i heard is lacking...ideas? |

If you're curious, here's a picture I just took of 245/40/17 Hankook RS3s vs 265/40/17 Star Specs on my 17x9+35 RPF1s. ![]() |

We're figuring that out now. Due to the coils, I have to run an additional 8mm spacer to clear the lower spring perch, so my fitment will be quite different. ![]() ![]() There is slight rubbing while turned, but I'm heat molding the fender liners to alleviate that. |

| Neutral : +1 score Hey bud quick question. What were you trying to accomplish with this setup? Are you gonna autocross with it or just street use? I have 2 new 245/40/17 rs3s that I might be selling. I have some ideas in my head. I think I might just go 265/35/18 rs3's all the way around or I have a few other ideas. Let me know if your interested or why u went with that setup. thakns

Hey driver311 i recently saw a post from you and saw your previous street setup with the rpf1's. My goal for next summer is to run either 255/40/17 Potenza RE-11's on 17x9 +45 rpf1's with 5mm spacers up front as well, rolled rear fenders and a rear camber of -2.0...Or 245/40/17 Advan Neova AD08's on the same setup with 3mm spacers upfront.. Im also gonna be lowered with COBB springs and Koni yellow sports. Witch setup would i be more beneficial with in your experience and will i be ok in the front and rear running the first setup with 255's ??? It will be my first rodeo lowering and going that wide especially with 17's...
