offset? the only issue you are going to have is when you have any people in the back or a lot of stuff in the trunk or hit a bump in the middle of a fast turn.
if you are having trouble, take a look at the rear bumper tab if youre getting the spaghetti pieces off of the rear tires. | I believe they are +45 offset. Yeah I tried with a bit of loading the rear no problems. I might need to do some more adjusting once I have it fully loaded. I rarely do fully load it but still, better be prepared for when I do. I just realllllyyyy wanted to get on my summers. Quote:

Hey man,
There's a white MS3 sitting on your tires! Just thought you should know...
haha, jokes aside, how much difference have you felt in straight line grip? | HUGE! It feels like I lost 2-300 lbs of weight in the car. Like it definately feels more nimble and better (faster too even). Quote:

What made you go with zero toe up front? | Well the place that I got an alignment done, the owner/mechanic races a 350z on the track frequently (has won some stuff too) and I asked his opinion for most grip but a good compromise for wear/longevity/performance. He recommended 0. So I said go for it. I am a suspension noob (kinda...) so time will tell if it was the correct choice or not. Quote:

Could you post some impressions? Those wheels actually look real good on your setup. I'm jealous because I know it would look like shit on teh pu. | FUCKEN awesome! LOL It rides better, feels more nimble, looks awesome, and feels faster. I mean no more wheel spin (or rather not as much..very rarely) and she just goes. I love that I can now take a onramp faster or turn without worrying about the car understeering. However I do also have a RMM and a TMM so I assume that helps as well as my suspension setup. I have a PMM going in too soon. Quote:

Do you have camber plates up front to get that much camber? | No sir! Do not have camber plates upfront. From what I have been told that much camber up front isnt alot by anymeans. and is within the stock adjustments. Not sure what youre referring too. I can get more info if you need from the alignment place. Quote:

@ starscream, what did you use for your center caps? Looks smooth... I haven't made any for mine yet and yours look good. | @ bnoon, I actually used Honda Civic/Accord caps that had the "H" symbol painted on them (not the stickered ones). Then had them color matched to the rim. Honestly its the best cap I have seen for the RPF01s yet. The only other cap I would have considered is the 19" RPF01's come with a different type of centre cap (but not gold) those are nice, however super pricey. I might add a vinyl with the "mazdaspeed" MS logo or a Mazda Badge on the centre caps to kinda add some color and to finish it off but unsure about it.
Thanks to everyone else for all the comments. |
