18x8.5 48off on teins

I want to run rota gforce 18x8.5 48offset with tein s-techs. Could I run bigger than a 235/40? If anyone has this setup or knows if it will work let me know.

pretty sure 245s will work. maybe even 255 with a tight roll. especially with that offset

maybe you can use the tire calculator and compare to mine. i have 18x9.5 37et with 235s.

I have 235's on 18x8.5 +46 stock suspension and I rub when I have people in the back going over bumps and dips. My fenders are not rolled at all but with a good roll you will be fine with the 235's. 245s might but you too close to the struts on the inside.

I think your gonna have to roll you rear fenders. I have 18x8.5 +43 and 235/40 with KW v2s I had to roll my rear fenders.

I have the G-Force's, same size on stock suspension with 235 tires and I never rub with stock fenders. I believe if I lowered it though, I would have to roll them ever so slightly.

Without a doubt a 245 tire would rub lowered. If you rolled them I bet they'd clear no prob.

just get you rear fenders rolled if you dont know how to do it. its better going to someone who does I heard the paint may get messed up if you dont do it right.

ZoomByU 06-26-2010 06:35 PM

fuck that, do it yourself. good experience and you wont be mad when you pay someone else to mess them up for you!!!

garret2331 06-27-2010 08:26 AM

Lol i guess that too.

I rolled the fenders on my SRT-4. If I had to do it again I would pay someone to do it.

On S-Techs you will need a roll. Even then you're going to rub a little on the rear tab where the bumper cover meets the fender. 45's are a no-go unless you're planning to pull.
