245 40/R18 on O.Z ultraleggeras
 

I am currently rocking the stock tire size (215 45/R18) and I was thinking about going a bit (fucking shit load) wider for my next tires. I wanted to know what some experiences are with running a 245 40. The O.Z's offset is +48 oppose to the +55 on the stock rim. Am I setting myself up for failure here or what?

i run a 245/40 on a 38 offset which sits perfectly flush. no rubbing but I'm on stock suspension. think you will be fine.

Have you drven around with people in the back yet? Keep in mind I am driving a 6.

ya. i have rubbed once but that was with 5 people in the car. just was not paying attention and hit a dip going to fast. you will be fine tho.
