Default +43 or +50?

I'm considering a set of wheels in 18x8 that I'll mount a set of 225's on.
The available offsets for the desired wheels are +43 or +50.

According to the handy-dandy wheel and tire calculator:
  • +50 will put my 3mm closer to the suspension and brake components.
  • +43 will stick my package out 14mm further.

What's the lesser of the two evils here?
I'm not planning to lower the car, so I don't foresee rubbing with the +43 setup, but I would like to hear what you guys think.
Or should I go with the +50 setup assuming that 3mm closer to the suspension and brake components is not a problem?

Okay, looks like I'm ordering the +50.
Thanks for the advice!

+43 will look better with the narrow 225's. If you ever want to run 245, go with +50's. EDIT: Just realized, 2 month old post. Way to dig it up from the dead ms3077!!!
