6UL Anyone? Why is there no one running these wheels? 6UL 17x9 +48 Seems like a nice option, not too expensive, reasonably light, fitment looks good. Considering them and I'm curious why I can't find an MS3 with these. If you do run these, please post pictures! |
I know there is at least on set of pictures on here with a MS3 on 6UL's.... |
There is a ms3 with these, but iirc no one liked them. You could get the trmotorsportc3 for half the price per rim, with the same weight, same offset/rim. I think theres a handful of ms3s running them, and afaik im the only ms6 running both these rims and 255-40 tires |
I run them on my car. Really like them too. High quality, light weight wheel at a good price. Needed spacer to keep them off my KW V3's in the front though. http://schullers11.home.comcast.net/...eels/6ulr1.jpg http://schullers11.home.comcast.net/...eels/6ulr2.jpg http://schullers11.home.comcast.net/...eels/6ulr3.jpg |
needs more wheel less tire... |
Has less tire on it now. |
What size are those/what size are on now? |
The tires on there were 245/45 GY Eagle F1 All Seasons. On there now are 235/45 GY F1 Asymmetrics. |
Thanks for the pics Erich. Car looks good...Did you mount 235's on the 6UL wheels? And if you ran the smaller size, did the spacers become unnecessary with the narrower tire? Or was the issues with the wheel itself hitting the front coilover? |
The wheel itself BARELY rubbed on the coilover. So the spacer is still necessary. They said they test fit them on a stock suspension MS3 with 0 issues. Yes the smaller tire is on the 6ulr's |
