anyone running 255 40 17 rs3 on there speed 3?
 

I'm currently running 245 40 17 Hankook RS3 on Enkei RP-F1 17x9 45mm offset wheels. I would like to try a set of 255 40 17 RS3 on the fronts shaved for auto-xing. My car is slightly lowered with Mazdaspeed coilovers and was hoping someone could comfirm this setup worked on there speed 3. I searched other post and only saw a speed 6 with this setup. Looking at the differences in the printed tire spec and measuring the current wheels combinatin it looks like it will work.

well.... your best bet would be to look at your car and visualize this and go from there.

I've got them on 17x8.5 and I'd prefer to be on the 245s. I just kill the shoulders, but that might be mainly due to no additional camber. If you can get some camber, and you're not already getting massive shoulder wear then go up a size. They're cheap, they're grippy, and they just LOVE to be hot. I'm on my second set right now, and if you're curious the build date was 0411.
