I know a lot of people running the Invo and they like the grip and the wet performance but they all say the sidewalls are garbage in the corners and roll really bad.

I don't autox my car and don't have an intention to do so, so I don't think that would be an issue for me. Biggest thing for me is that I already have... 3(?) sets of tires and need my sticky set to be CHEAP, well, I guess I should say inexpensive. I can't find the invos cheap anywhere. If I can get a set of 235/245 nt05s for less than $400 on eBay.... Link me up please lol. Cheapest I have seen the invos is double that

I'm really looking for something sticker than the INVO. Personally. I broke 4th free tuning the other day. I can't recall but I think the INVO is actually more expensive, too.

Federal 595RS-R should get you between 4-500 for all 4.

I just installed some NT-05s and they are a HUGE step up over my old V12s. The fact that they're 245 vs the old 215s doesn't hurt either...

Im personally going to get the nitto nto5 cause I heard alot of great things about them, plus they are only like 130 a tire so they are affordable.

Where are you finding 130/tire? Usually I find 155-165 each for 235/40/18. Nt555 at 130 all day though.

I actually got caught in the rain on the way to the dyno a couple weeks back shortly after installing them and I drove at highway speeds with absolutely no issues. I was certainly cognizant of the tread but it did nothing more than psyche myself out.

Purchased NT05 for daily/trackday tires. I can't complain one bit. Well they tend to get a tad bit greasy at the end of a 15-20min session. I instantly noticed better grip and on the track they are fairly predictable with awesome break away characteristics. When the rear slides it is very managable and at the limit they aren't crazy loud.
Did anyone else notice a lot of road noise? Came from HTRz3(great daily tire if you're not making tons of power) which were fairly quiet but howled when pushed to the limit.

I don't really notice much. But my setup is... pretty loud.

I wish there was one of you NT-05 guys closer to me so I can get a ride and see how my Bridgestones fair against them.

There was a thread earlier today with Discount Tire Direct Ebay deal $100 off $400 tire purchase. The NT05 were sold out but I got my local Americastire to match the $100 off. $111 each for NT05's 235/45 17 in Evo 9 rims. Worth a shot to see if they will match for the 18's
