i just got off the phone from the rack, being told the light grey rims i ordered are backordered till march, i asked about the 15lb rims, they asked what i meant, and i said the rims of the different lighter gray or silver color that are the same model number and design and size and all, the rep then said that the paint finish of the wheel in no way can make a rim weigh 1.3lbs more, and that is a definate website weight listing error, then he said he will make a report about it, the rims will be weighed and the same weight will be placed for both types of rims

honesty i ordered these cuz their light, not cuz i splooge at the sight of the color gray, so silver... which to me is a light gray anyways... make no bit off differance if their the same exact weight of rim...funny, cuz the rep said a ton of people are also on the waiting list since novemeber for the rims i ordered orginally

what a blunder... i just hope it means they both weigh 13.7 and not the other way around

cant wait to put some fresh rubber on em next week, and see what -40lbs off the stock setup can do muahahahhaha(gonna go 225/50r17 obvy since im riding on rpm spring with minimal drop due to driving in dc)

I've got RX7 FD wheels, Paid 150 for 4 wheels, 16x8 50 offset and bolt right up, weight is 16 lbs each. The early 93 models are only 14 lbs each. I'll be running Bridgestone RE-11's in 225/50/16. This size tire is cheap compaired to 18" tires.
