Default Compatible wheel/tire size for snow?

Will a set of 16x6.5", 114.3mm with +46mm offset fit with our cars? I did search and read previous threads, but there have been mixed comments about whether or not it will fit over the calipers.

Additionally, would 205/60/16 be an appropriate size tire for those wheels?

The stock wheels are 7.5" wide, so yes, 6.5" would be tight.

Sorry, I was referencing gen1 MS3 so I think our stock ones are: 18x7 | +52.5mm offset

Having clarified that, would the 6.5" be a solid option for snow tires?

This is about the tire you want to mount on it.
So yes 215 on 6.5 is approved by the few tires brands i checked so it should work as long as the offset fit too.
you can compare at place like that.
