Couldn't resist this deal on Enkei's I took the plunge mainly because I got my ass kicked in STU last weekend by an R32. I'm still on the stock wheels and tires but not anymore... I found Enkei RS7's on blowout at Edge Racing... $70 off per wheel Enkei RS7's 18x7.5, +45, 19.5 pounds - $89 each Falken Azenis RT615 235/40/18 - $135 each $998 mounted, balanced and shipped... not bad for a good 18" package! |
Their site is showing list as $210, so you saved $121 per wheel! If only that price was available on the anthracite... |
I know, i really wanted the anthracite but I couldn't pass up the deal. I wanted new tires for autocross and so the wheels were less of a concern. Maybe I'll paint them black at some point. |

Let us know how the setup works for you. I just completed my first autocross event and the stock tires were ok. Even at stock power with the only mod being a rear mount, there was wheelspin everywhere. I had a great time but can't help but wonder how much faster I would have been if that power could have gotten to the ground. I was thinking of running those exact tires next season (with some more mods) on some rota torque 18x8s. What is your suspension setup? Any rubbing or have you rolled your fenders? |

Tires are on backorder for 3 weeks so I have to wait  |

The stock Potenzas really aren't THAT bad. I just think this car needs more rubber on the ground for any kind of performance driving. I can't wait to get back on a course with the new package. Even with the heavier tires, the package should be about 6 pounds less per corner than stock. That will help a lot too. |
3 Attachment(s) the rs7 look sweet i got bronze you will probably want to paint your calipers i just got mine painted after my pic shoot |
