Deep Dish Rims? I did a search for Deep Dish Rims and all I got were two hits..a Bentley and the Genesis Coupe. I do like the look of Deep Dish rims, but not stoopid deep, just a little deeper than, say, a polished lip. Anyone rolling a speed6 with deep dish? I wanna see how it looks. |
protip; offset |
hmm? |
You would need a low offset for a "deep dish". I would personally go with the Work Meister, but I haven't seen them on a 6. I believe a member has them on a CWP MS3 though. Try searching rim widths and offsets that you can run on the MS6. |
not going to happen on the speed6. I tried test fitting some stupid ass truck wheels in 18x9 with a 1.5" lip to prove a point (and take 100$). Offset was et35, so maybe with an et40 and some decent fender rolling ... |
http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t...8/SNV30804.jpg something like that?? its not that deep however I would like to get something like those on the back of that jetta http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t...ia628/rims.jpg 5arm desing ftw but all deep dish with 5 arm design are only for 5X120 check this out http://a952.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...fe1215eb67.jpg |
Ya , those are nice! but..the ones on the Jetta I'm not a fan of. I don't like the bolts around the rims. I guess those aer 2 or 3 piece rims. |

That being said here is a link that breaks down offsets breifly. Wheel Tech - Offset Here is a nifty calculator for offsets. Wheel Offset Calculator Here is a thread on the Focus forums that discusses it http://forums.focaljet.com/tire-rack...sh-wheels.html |
