Does the 2007 Ms6 come with TPMS from the factory??
 

I'm about to drop some cash on a set of ms6 wheels to get them powder coated. The seller says he took them off from the factory and never changed the tires or anything, they are all original. He said if they are in there, I can keep them but he didn't know.

Depends on when it was made. If it was after September 2007, then yes. If before that, then I don't know - but you can look at the valve stem and tell. If there are flats where an 11mm socket will fit, it is a multi-piece valve stem and probably has TPMS. If it is just a regular rubber valve stem, then no. The TPMS stems also use grey plastic caps, not black.

FWIW, I'd guess that it does have TPMS, but that's just a shot in the dark.

Thank you, that's very helpful information.... I'm picking them up tomorrow super local to me and I'm getting a killer deal on the wheels so I'm not too worried if they come with them or not. If they somehow do come with them, it will truly be a sick deal haha.

SPEED6's do not have TPMS.

Speed6's were only produced 2006-2007

I am aware that the speed6 was only produced for two model years; I did not know if they had ceased production before the mandatory TPMS legislation that went into effect September 2007. I was also unaware that TPMS was not even an option, since you assert that NO Mazdaspeed6 was equipped with TPMS.

I was unaware of TPMS mandate in 2007. I wish my MS6 had it. Nice feature.
