help me spend progressive's money!

long story short, hit a nasty pothole that closed down a major highway on my way to work on tuesday, car has been with progressive since then. Just got a call from them my wheels were mangled are beyond repair ( no shit) and they are on manufacturer backorder for 4 to 6 months.. which means, i get to pick a whole new set of wheels.. try to keep it around or just under $1000 and lets see your suggestions..

I'm not a "wheel person" i never have a set that I had to have i just like the car looking good and clean the lighter the better as well. I prefer gunmetal, or black chrome powdercoat looking color, would like to check out hyper black as well.

18X8 + 48 offset were my last wheels, and i'd be fine right around there again

Pics of carnage will happen once i get them back i did not authorize them to throw anything away, i was on the side of the highway and didn't feel like getting hit by a car was worth the pictures.

I second this. They have a lot of sizes/offsets available and a few different color options as well. They're cheap and decently light. Does the $1000 include tires? Or do you already have other tires to use?

18x7.5 53 offset..... grab like a mofo and can still stretch a 235 on em (depending on tire)
