Lug Nut Question for the Forged Mazdaspeed Wheel http://i710.photobucket.com/albums/w...o/IMG_0207.jpg I just picked a set of 4 used Mazdaspeed Lightweight forged wheels from MiltwonSHO. Unfortunately, they didn't come with lug nuts. I know if you buy a brand new set they come included. Does anyone know what type of lug nuts will work with these set of wheels? Tuner type skinny? Conical (bulge) or Acorn? I think conical, right? I know the size 12mm x 1.50. Should I use the OE lugs? I, currently, have on my MS6, Kazeras which use a taper/shank (I thnk and probably don't work) I was thinking of getting black chrome lugs. I painted my calibers red but not else on the exterior is red. http://memimage.cardomain.com/member.../466348_63.jpg Is it worth it to get Gorrilla? Muteki? Any other brands worth looking at (but not too expensive)? I am interested in splined or heptogonal(sp?) I'm planning for the new wheels next year so I am gathering everything up. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
I used Mcgard spline drives on the set I had. PS: If you look at the lug area it's apparent that OE lugs are not to be used. When the wheels are bought new they come with their own lugs. |

Gorilla Automotive 21133BC - Gorilla Small Diameter Tuner Lug Nuts - Overview - SummitRacing.com Those are the best deal going. I've got those on my ms wheels. Been with me through 10 sets of wheels in 5 years. Great lugs |
