Default MS3 wheel offset/size questions...

Ok...size seems to be not a big deal but the offset thing seems to be a bit up in the air. I see the stockers have an offset of 52.5 and a wheel siaze of 18x7.5...

I also see many aftermarket wheels are a 45 offset...

What can/have you guys run with no issues on stock suspension? I'd like to go a bit wider in the wheel/tire as well (possibly a 235?)

Any help would be great...

Stock is +52.5mm 18x7

Ideally you want to keep the offset as high as possible to match the stock offset. To go 235 you will want an 8 inch wide rim. Aim to have an offset 48 or greater I would say.

^ He's right. However if you are staying on stock suspension, you could get the 18x8 +45 that you have found and run 235s with no issues. I'm on Cobb springs with this set up and I have no issues.

Oh yeah if you're doing spacers you'll be good.

So if I added 15 mm spacers that would push the offset to 45 or is that not how it works

He had to have searched something to find an eight year old thread and resurrect it. He knows how to do it, just being lazy or he is a definite troll.
