new wheels. opinions? 3 Attachment(s) hey im getting some new wheels soon the stock ones are driving me nuts i cant keep the damn things clean plus they just dont stand out enough...i just wanted opinions on what you guys think would look best on a silver speed6 with all blue engine bay scheme. |
the white ones definitely look the sickest, but i think on your car the black and blue would look the best. |
At first i was thinking i dont like any of them But...after really visualizing how they would look...i dunno if any of them would be a terrible choice...i kinda dig em |

I like the last one. |
Not a fan on any of those. |
Check out the Enkei RS05 or OZ Superturismo if you like spokes (just providing more options for you) |
How much do those weigh? Of the three I like Black & Blue |

of those 3 choices, numero uno. |

Yes. Big time. Even more so with tires. For example, my wheels are 18.5 lbs vs the stock 25 lbs. That's 6.5 lbs lighter per corner. The car felt amazingly nimble with this setup on the stock Bridgestones. Fast forward to a wrong tire order that resulted in receiving a tire that weighs 27 lbs vs the stock 24 lbs. The car felt absolutely dead. The steering was heavy, you couldn't feel anything in the road, and all agility the car once had was gone. Now, the net result of wheel/tire combo was still 3.5 lbs less than stock, but the stock setup felt much more responsive to steering input. The tire order was remedied and the proper tires were installed yesterday. These tires (which weigh 24 lbs) result in that much more responsive feeling the car once had with the stock 'stones. Needless to say, pay attention to wheel weight and tire weight. They are both important. Honestly, I would not go heavier than a 20 lb wheel, and no heavier than a 24 lb tire. |
i'm really digging the white ones. |
here is a pic of the konig imagine on my buddies gen 1. i have no idea what color your car is but anyways here- http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/foru...70/#post351392 he loves em but i still think its kinda rice. |
spokes are really thin |
Konigs are light depending on the style you get. I got the Runaways and they are 16.7 lbs a wheel. That's a significant improvement over stock weight. I think if you're going for a "blue theme", go for the black and blue wheels. All are good choices but the black and blue would probably look better. |
well after getting opinions from family friends and you guys here at msf (thanks for your opinions btw) i am going to go with the black and blue ones i think they will best fit the style of my car. |
