I'm sorry, I thought I just read something fucking stupid.

Could you please refresh?

this is not rwd car. This is fwd car. So you put bigass rims on the back, btw, 10" wide wims=265 or 275 series width=not gonna fuckin fit.
AWD doesn't do staggered either.

And it's not like you'll be fooling people on the road, either.

handling will go fuckin weird, etc.

meh. I come from 350z's and G35's. Those guys would have coke cans sittin on their lip. regardless, i think that whole style looks gay on fwd cars.

just do it. it'll be sick but idk about the rear fenders of a MS6 but i would need to run a lot of camber like shavi status for them hahaha and thats not flaring the fenders.

you realize this is the aggressive offset thread right?

obviously gusto doesnt care about the performance with a 10" wheel in the back. Its not like he's posting this in an autox section haha

Chimmike 08-14-2011 03:13 PM

aggressive offset is one thing. Fucking staggered wheels on a FWD car (and by staggered I mean bigger in back than in front) is ricer and retarded. There's nothing aggressive about that.

If he wants to have aggressive offset, go wider in the front than in the back, because the front matters more.

Roszko 08-15-2011 02:32 AM

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not going to lose sleep over some staggered wheels. Let's keep the stances aggressive and not the posts.

Oh, and Gusto - do it.

ZoomByU 08-15-2011 05:36 AM

why are people who dont agree with very aggressive fitment coming into this thread to bag on people? you dont see me going into the "400+ FWHP on stock bottom" thread and telling them they are fucking stupid and gonna throw a rod.....to each their own. its not like hes spending YOUR money, who cares!!!!

Learn to read, or at least learn definitions, kid.

It's not aggressive fitment. It's not even aggressive. It's the equivalent of putting bigass tires in the back and skinnies on the front, on a fwd car.

The only person who'll think it looks cool is the OP. Everyone on the road will think it looks dumb, ESPECIALLY people who mod or know the first thing about cars and know the ms3 is fwd. So, he'll make a nice stereotype of mazda owners in the process "mazda owners are retarded, there's a guy near me with staggered wheels on his ms3, bigger in the front than the back!"

If you want to do the aggressive stagger, get a different car. Or just buy a civic, because they're the only cars who would do something like this and think it's cool.

Thats because the stock block can hold 400+ just fine jackass. it also serves a purpose performance wise. Staggering the way retardo rice boy wants to do serves no purpose other than to play Fast and Furious. Who the fuck let you people onto this technical, performance focused site anyway?

Spirry 08-15-2011 09:12 AM

To each their own.

This thread is about as useful as a Motec exhaust...

^^^Fast and Furious reference...

bnoon 08-15-2011 09:24 AM

Aggressive offset is one thing, stupid offset with fail camber and chewed sidewalls is quite another. :smashfreakB:

Not to mention staggered wheels on AWD or FWD...FAILBOATS sailing!

lax22pearl 08-16-2011 11:37 AM

i'm not staggered, just sayin'

bewsted 08-16-2011 11:42 AM

N before ppl start putting baggs on MS3

smillers 08-16-2011 12:11 PM

So....I've officially read every page of this post to see if anybody is running a 18x9.5 wheel and what suspension they are running. I really want to pull the trigger on a set of Rota p45r's in the sport bronze on my TR 1st gen. I only saw 2 guys with 9.5's and they are running full coilovers. Will this set up work on just lowering springs with fender roll? spacers? Any input is appreciated.

lax22pearl 08-16-2011 11:40 PM

yeah but you will be mexiflush like a mofo and imo look pretty dumb not flush with a lot of camber... if you dont want it to poke much and on drop springs stick with an 8.5

goob_os101 08-17-2011 07:44 AM

Test fitted a set of 5Zigen FN01RC Titanium 18x8.5 +48mm last night. I am on stock suspension and the wheel was very close to the strut
I am assuming that I will need to run a 3mm-5mm spacer up front to be safe. I am also looking to run 235/40/18s. I should be ok with this setup? The wheels are pretty sick looking.

Roszko 08-17-2011 09:12 AM

sick wheels, but I don't think you'll need to run spacers. I'm on 9.5 +38 in the front and a 3mm spacer does it for me

Chimmike 08-17-2011 09:15 AM

uh, looks like your rears stick out a bit. looks goofy ^

tigermack 08-17-2011 11:56 AM

I am running staggered wheels/tires. :tongue3:

false, you want the BEST traction on the rear wheels.

wheather car is FWD or RWD.

I hope he's fucking around. LOL

Only Replacing 2 Tires? - Discount Tire

this is reffering to replacing only 2 tires on a vehicle, but it still proves you want more/better traction in the rear of a vehicle

wider tires in the rear= more gripping force = same scenerio as link posted

thats for bitches that dont know how to drive. 90% of american cars are FWD because its much easier to recover from under steer then over.

real drivers know how to correct for slippage.....

If wider tires always equaled more gripping force you might be right, but it doesn't, so you aren't. :)

Also, the above is really only applicable to the safety of a vehicle, not overall handling prowess. ;)

rain and snow you have worse traction with wide tires

It almost looks like you have Evo8 wheels on your avatar pic.

goob_os101 08-19-2011 12:22 PM

I have FD RX7 wheels(16x8)

EVO8s should fit. Same specs as the evo ix wheels and there are a few Speeds running them.
