Dubba frusha. Looks so good man. You ever pain the hubs?

doubleflusher 05-25-2010 07:36 PM

I painted the back, when I rolled the fenders.

I'll do the fronts this weekend, maybe.

I don't know... There's a fine line between being flush and being bumped out Mexican style. lol

That looks terrible with that low of an offset IMHO.

Just saying... Too little offset looks bad. Flush looks great, and stock looks terribly sunken in.

your stance really compliments your carseat

but for real, sick stance. I'd always like to see it go lower though

flush is getting boring

Stock height and the rear fenders are rolled, yet I still rub on hard bumps. FML!

I need to eliminate the rub.

Stock shocks have hardly any compression dampening.

My custom CORs for my MS6 will be dead flush. I'm still debating between a 38 or 40mm offset on my 8.5s.

doubleflusher 06-02-2010 01:33 PM

40

sumthaiguy 06-02-2010 07:06 PM

LOL no offense but WEAK! wrong thread! and the difference between 38 and 40 is barely noticable if that. its a whopping total of 2mm difference!

edit: and just to clear some stuff up. just being flush does not make you stanced. stance = good aggressive fitment + low ride height. again no offense but there is nothing aggressive about +38/40 offset unless its on a 9.5+.

tigermack 06-02-2010 09:48 PM

It's on a 6... lol

NOT COOL!!!!!

im on a +30 with a 8.5 and im still looking stance

sumthaiguy 06-03-2010 11:14 PM

lol you are at +30! not 38/40 thats like a 10mm difference which is noticable! imo 30 offset is right around where it usually gets agressive.

but you do need to go lower for badass stanced/herrafrush goodness! wheel gap kills!

sellers 06-03-2010 11:49 PM

Not sure if this is aggressive enough for this thread, but is low, and its a 6..lol

Right! That would look tight if it got rid of all that negative camber in the rear. That's killing it IMHO.

^ so did you completely bite off of dazednconfused's style or is that just my imagination?

Roszko 06-07-2010 09:59 PM

Pretty close, but like I said, I'm not done. I'm getting 215/35s tomorrow and the rims will be PC'd white as soon as I can afford it. It was either hyper black or gold rims in this size and hyper black is much better IMO. I think the only reason you're saying that is cuz my cars white though. But I won't lie, he showed it could be done and I knew for a fact I wanted grids (can't afford TEs), and I loved his stance, so I went with it

I expected the haters to show up, but whatever, I'm excited, this shits fun

what coilover setup you running?

you better have shaved fenders because that looks to kill tire wall with that stance.

Damn! It looks like the fronts can take less offset than the rears on the MS6? Is that right?

I though it'd be the opposite?

Yeah that's right.
I'm running 18x7.5 +43 (so they stick out 3.3mm more than stock with 15mm spacers). The rears rub under heavy acceleration with people in the back seat and the fronts are fine.

tigermack 06-14-2010 01:47 AM

Got some new tires put on, not what I'm looking for at all, wayyyyyyyyy too stretched. My (costly) mistake. But it did make for some good photo opportunities. I love how low my cars sitting now, but I hate driving on these things, too delicate.

First set of tires, BS Potenza RE760 Sport 235/40/18 rubbed too much (no, I will not "just raise the car", that defeats the purpose):
http://i46.tinypic.com/16gedj7.jpg

Current set of tires, Falken FK 452 215/35/18 extreme stretch, too risky:

http://i50.tinypic.com/9jmag4.jpg

http://i49.tinypic.com/2my0roj.jpg

Next set on their way, 225/40/18.
^^ And these are the sexiest angles of MS3s, IMO ^^ I like big butts

speedyhans 06-15-2010 07:38 AM

nice !!!!!

ZoomByU 06-15-2010 09:34 AM

I know man, Ameen at 786 was begging me to drop it, and I'd love to, but this is my daily so I shouldn't go too crazy... the fender would fit right between the lip and the tire. Shame.

Within the next couple paychecks, I'm going to paint them hyper white. That was my original plan. I'm totally digging this hyper black though
