Car sits a little higher than I want it to be so hopefully in the next week or two ill lower it a little more and adjust the camber some more. Maybe get some bigger spacers but not sure yet. Once she's running well with the k04 pretty much moving towards all aesthetics for the rest of this year along with tuning. |
@Rokusek I might pic up some 17x9 rpf1's for the trip down there... how does the car handle with the 255's?? |

Just got my faces all sandblasted and put a wheel together to see what it looks like, should hopefully have them back from powder coating pretty soon. http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q...psf2634c5d.jpg |

Theres a few of us locally that have 255's on the 3's your more than welcome to go for a ride. Maybe this time you'll stay out longer than a few minutes on a saturday night lol |
255's are completely unnecessary on a 6 on that is street driven. |

Just because its AWD doesn't mean more tire won't be nice to have |
Yes says me. I'm on 225's (Pirelli P Zero) and never have I thought once I needed more tire and I can assure you I drive this car harder in a turn then anyone in this god forsaken thread. I have already had 245's (Toyo T1R) and 235's (Conti DWS) and have only put 10k miles on the car. If I tracked the car yet (keeps breaking) and required a <200 treadwear I would consider 255's... but 245's on a x9 would be sufficient. More tire and "more" grip is not the cure for retarded driving habits. No matter how many times you tell yourself it is. |
i would agree 255s are not needed around corners, but i could see it in a straight line depending on power. youre better off going with a really sticky 225 or 235 and getting the fitment on point. 255s are not needed especially when you have to hack and do a weird roll to get them to fit |

But almost seriously... you're quite obviously a badass. Teach me your ways... lmao |
so where are all your BA videos of you? being a self proclaimed lateral G specialist im sure you have something to backup what you are saying? please, do share. |
We can derail this lame thread all you want with personal attacks. My point was, 255's are unnecessary on a street driven ms6. I am not speculating, I am just telling you how it is. The dampers, bushings, and brakes are all going to need to be upgraded before you attempt to take advantage of a proper tire on a road course. Can you do it, sure. Is it ideal, not exactly. |

I went against my better judgement and left out my qualifications . Let the guy search the forum if he cares so much. Mazda Domination - YouTube |
congrats, you can drive fast on a public road while apexing across both lanes. did i miss the videos of you driving a car fast on a track? oh wait, this isnt about aggressive offset. and you dont have that either. |
I guess you missed the video where I beat Fords professional drivers with their own car by over a full second and set the fastest lap of the day in 2nd gear at an autocross. I was disappointed too it wasn't a flat parking lot with loads of grip. I wanted the full boring experience you guys need to get yourselves through your work week. |
Whatever you have to tell yourself. Make a thread when you actually track your car. |

Correct me if I am wrong but this is an aggressive offset thread? |
