good thread |
discovered my 3pc 17" wheels wont fit.. =0( super bummed since I just had the straightened... I was about to tear them apart & refinish them. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps416adba5.jpg as you see the valve sticks out too far.. believe it or not.. the caliper has about 1mm of room all the way around the wheel except where it meets the valve stem. hrmmm maybe I can get it spun in the other direction... make them fit somehow... ======== O & I had my ARK wheels shaved. The Offset was 40.. I had 4-3/4mm removed off the rear.. now they don't rub on my fenders... =0) http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps99ef4ea0.jpg the only pic I have is of it in the background of my '74 super beetle...lol |
Shave your calipers? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2 |
yea.. someone suggested that to me today.. that & doing one of those flush style valve stems. might do that.. thanks. I'll keep you guys updated |

1 Attachment(s) Here's another of my setup. 18x8.75 215/40(closer to a 225) rolled slightly pulled. Some camber adjustments in the rear. No rub. I'll probably go with a wider tire and raise it up when it comes time to get new tires. I like the look, just want some more meat;) Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2 |
1 Attachment(s) 245/45/17 Nitto nt555's. Love these tires, but I'm switching to 235/40/17 NTO5's to help with rubbing in the rear. |

Second, he is my friend, one of my best friends matter of fact, and I was the first person to tell him how fucking stupid that lip looked. But the second he acknowledged my strong dislike for the lip, I left it alone. Ya know why? Because who the fuck cares. As a friend, I have authority to voice my opinion. You on the other hand can shut the fuck up and eat a dick. K, thanks. |
I lol'd pretty hard. You agree the car is a joke and your reasoning for it is "so?". Beautiful response. Brb going to get a spray can of cool so I can fit in guiis Quote:
