Get the spc ball joints. You might also want to consider spacers with that offset to avoid touching the control arms with neg camber.

I really like how these have a more aggressive concave.

From what I remember they are the same size and offset you're looking into right now. You would definitely need a pull as well

damn. that's just too much poke. Im guessing to have less poke I should go +30 or higher.

jrho 02-15-2014 11:09 PM

If you don't want too much poke I would go lowest offset of 35

Im trying to get that concave look. Sigh.

Carlg21 02-16-2014 10:55 AM

Wheels/tires being mounted today i'll get pics up soon.

ge3kspd 03-01-2014 05:28 PM

Guys,
I have been reading through this thread for the past two hours, and can't find a definitive answer to help me pull the trigger. I want wheels/tires for summer DD and the monthly Auto.X events for my PU. The wheels I like are the MB battles and they only come in 17x9 +30. Can I wrap them in 245 45s without having to do anything other than rolling the rear fenders? I'm on stock height and plan to stay that way for a while. Thanks!

You sir are more attractive than you know. Especially rolling around on them fancy wheels. I've been thinking about moving to some 18" RPF1's up from my 17's. But I think I'll be keeping them now.

No rubbing at all. They are rolled and pulled slightly in the rear. Tires will camber in as the coilover is compressed. Fronts needed the metal bumper tab cut off and then I installed the quick release mounts on the sides. Still need to do a little trimming up on the side of the bumper, very minor rub over bumps.

I think some people under estimate the effectiveness of a good, clean roll/ pull on the fenders. Properly rolled/ pulled fenders can accommodate damn near any wheel/ tire size with minimal to no rubbing.

Exactly. Do I nice quality job, do everything how it should. You can still have a nice DD and pretty much drive normal with no issues.

Evo BBS wheels 18x8.5 38 offset w/245/40/18's

Front there is NO issues, the rears rub on dips in the road and that's about it. Will be going with a 225/40/18 tire

At least they don't look to bad and for a 17x7 tire it handles really well !! Last picture I laughed at figured what are car would have looked like as a hatch :P
