I've been lurking around this thread for a while and have paid special attention to the MS3s with the 18x9.5 Rota Grids. I'm looking at running this same setup but wanted to know more about how they drive and if they rub at all???

The roads here are pretty crap, big dips and random pot holes, so basically not as flat as Texas. Can anyone give me a heads up??? i.e. lock to lock and also if they're able to take passengers in the rear of the car???

I'd like to be the first one here in Aus running this setup, MPS/MS3 owners here are real conservative and there is only a hand full of ppl who go with the aggressive fitment.

Any info will be greatly appreciated...

Finally some people got these wheels in. Too bad you can only get Chromium black or flat black in 17x8.25. Silver would have looked great on my Sunlight Silver MS3. I am really afraid that the +35 won't fit in the back even with a roll...

More of a polished aluminum IMO. I digg them too. I would def rock them on my MS3. Haven't seen many aftermarket wheels out there that I would buy. I would actually consider those. As long as they are not TOO heavy.

Its actually hard to tell what they are. They could just be dirty and look like aluminum wheels. IDK. Nice wheels tho for sure.

I have a question, will 18x8+40 on the front and 18x8+50 on the back on 07 MS3 look weird? sorry that isn't really agressive but I'm not giving up driveability for pure stance, i.e. my brother who could never drive his car down the driveway in under a minute and well I'll contribute this is his car about 3 years back, if I recall he had to flare the rear guards a bit and the wheels were 20" HRE's im not to sure of the offset/width so yep:)

I just got these installed today... I know it's not too crazy of an offset, but I like it.

The wheels are Enkei PF01 - 18 lbs each, 18X8 +45 offset. Tires are Hankook Ventus 12 Evo 235/40/18.

Before you say anything I KNOW I need to lower the car. Springs are on their way as I type this... waiting on UPS. Ordered JBR camber arms, and sway bar to go along with the drop on Eibach Pro Kits....

More a fan of meat than stretch soooo.... I went with 17X9 +42 Grids and 255/40 V12 Evo's. Also had to run 5mm spacers up front with longer studs. Also took a lot of work to get the right hight and still get the tires to fit nice without rubbing. Grip/Handling is... amazing.

Good SHIT man! I thought about going a bit more aggressive but didnt want to roll the fenders or worry about rubbing. I love these wheels, simple at first look but up close they have a nice concave look to the face and they are relatively lightweight.... Now I just need my right front Koni sport to get here! I made the mistake of dropping my car with the factory struts and eibach pro kits. Car rides like complete ass! Damn right front Koni sport is back ordered so I gotta deal with it in the meantime.
