I think if the Genpu had a square bumper above the wheel and came down in a straight line instead of being oval; then Genpu's body style wouldn't be all so bad.

So has anyone tried the xxr 527 +35 wheels on a MS6? really like these wheels and I haven't seen anyone with them. I would like to try the 18x8.75 but wanted to see if anyone else had tried it yet.

edit:
running 245 45 17s on 17x8

maybe not crazy "aggresive" but definitely as hellaflush as I can get while still retaining the hellafunctional stance.
I have about 1mm clearance between the tire and the coilovers, and I was barely rubbing on my already rolled rears, had to roll a bit more.

... on a side note, i guess im a fucking brownie now. too bad, I have no cash, ill remain a brownie for a bit.

That shit looks more like burnt paint from him rubbing so much than rust. Granted rust is sure to follow soon.

BRB having 10" wide wheels with a 3" contact patch.

I actually think a lot of these cars look pretty good, but that last one is fucking retarded.

18x8 50et w/ 225/40 soon to be 235' or 245's. No issues at stock height. This was done for performance more than looks though(lighter weight wheels with a little more bead)

I actually meant to put 18x8.5 +48. I know I'm going to need some negative camber.

At first, I was looking into getting a set of 17x8 wheels, but couldn't find any that I like. So I found a set of Rota Grids, but its extreamly wide. They're 17x9 with a 42 offset.I'm going with 245/40/17 gforce kdw's for tires. At the moment, I'm stock suspension, but I want to go eiback prokit with koni yellows.

Question is, would I need spacers (if so, what size) and do I need to roll all 4 fenders or just the rear?

Thank you in advance for your replies. Sorry if this is a newb question, but I'd preffer to get this right the first time.

I doubt you're gonna need spacers. Just in case, you might as well pick some up off eBay or something, they're only ~$5 and worth it if you need them. I'm running 18x9.5 +38's and I only need 2 3mm spacers up front. You're .5in thinner and +4 more. If I do the wheelmath, you should be a tad further from the strut than I am. I'll be redundant and say, go ahead and get 3mm spacers.

It's always good to roll the fenders. I would, especially if you're not going to be stretching your tires much with those 245/40's. The front fenders, you can literally do by hand. I wouldn't get a fender roller under there because the metal is pretty thin. Just bend it as much as you can with your hands and call it good unless you start rubbing.

Depending how low you go, you're probably going to be hitting your weather guard in your front wheel wells, so think about slimming the tire down a little more.

This website helps figure out tire sizes/stretches, etc.

Good luck

If you buy Rota, Wheeldude has spacers for sale anyways.

with stock suspension i am not 100% sure but i know with coilovers you can get a 1Xx9.5 +35 in there. but if you are going for more tire you may want to go with a 1Xx9 +30-40. but again i'm not 100% sure about stock struts. and the main thing would be the tire hitting with the given offsets i said. but nothing a small spacer cant fix

You will be fine. I have 18x8.5 +42 on 235/35/18. I pulled and rolled my fenders.
no rubbing issues. even with a loaded car. I'm thinking about getting the XXR's 006 18x8.5
+35 with 3.25 lip. I think I will bw fine with that too.

All the cars in here are very nicely done. I'm getting some Grid's, just 18x8.5's...and I don't plan on going hellaflush with my coils, just no wheel gap, and I'm guessing all I can run for tires is 225/40's correct?
