Thanks bro!! I'm very happy with the turn out, just the fronts are killing me with the 225/40 nt05.... I hit/rub hard on the top liner......need to shave it down, but need slight stretch like my rears on a 215/40......and I need a lip!

From ur pic, ur car looks damn good too!

question for the people in this thread. If you're going to go low why don't you go really low with camber and stretch and no wheel gap. Not hating on anyone's car I'm just curious as to why you'd be kinda low and sorta flush

In an aggressive fitment and offset thread you would think that function isnt the top priority. I am thoroughly confused, is this the thread where I can post about stance and fitment or is it not.

No, it's not. Fitment and stance is nothing even in the thread purpose. "Aggressive" yeah, but that implies lowered and maybe a bit of lateral adjustment of the tires to get them sitting just right in the wheel wells. But there is no safe place on this forum to talk about slamming, cambering, or stretching. That shit just doesn't belong.

This is for aggressive fitment mostly function, but also a little form. The is no place here for form only this is a function oriented forum. No place for full retard.

Disagree.
The definition of aggressive fitment in this thread (or shall i say this forum) is about increasing the width of the wheel base to the maximum yet the camber and drivability is not overly compromised so we can USE the wheel and tires in stead of solely SHOW them. Bare in mind the original purpose of using wider wheel or wider wheel base is to achieve better handling and traction.

Hope this help u to understand otherwise u will have a really tough time staying in this forum

im implying that you are most likely a noob to wheels and how to make a lot of wheel and rubber fit under your fenders because you have no first hand experience with your own car, therefore your opinions about fitment mean nothing. because wheel fitment has just as much to do with suspension, fender rolling, bumper trimming as it does with camber.
and the amount of effort you put into your avatar, signature and donating says a lot about you. that you are just here giving crap opinions and no real advice that helps anyone.

I like his advice, he actually gets what this thread is about. Then you have fagslobra who thinks aggressive wheel and tire sizes only relate to fitment and hard parking. It relates to both, especially here.

This is the internment camp for fitment/stance/flush of MSF. This is the only place you guys are safe (kinda).

in other news...I need slightly more spacer in the rear, my 15mms made my rears almost on the fender but not quite. Would it be safe to run a 3mm on top of that 15mm(slip on with extended studs) or am I asking for trouble at this point/should I sell my 15s and go bolt on 20s

Hurts that he is right though doesn't it. Seems to really be getting under everyone's delicate sensibilities in here.

no one ever said his idea of aggressive fitment wasnt correct, but that doesnt make his posts less dumb. a guy with stock suspension and stock wheels giving fitment advice and telling people what fitment is would be like me giving advice on what big turbo kit to purchase with my stock turbo.

While your point is understood, it's possible to know how to do something without being able to do it yourself. I can suggest a turbo based on knowledge gained through this forum, just like I could suggest a wheel.

lol u guys still taking about my "advise", im flattered…
Let me clarify couple things:

I have 23 post because I don't know as much as a lot of people in here so I read and search in stead of asking stupid question and get flame, I give information base on what I know thats all.

I do not have an avatar because I read the words in stead of that little icon next to the screen name and I work 13 hrs a day and sadly my job is neither tech nor forum surfing.

You are right i have stock wheels and suspension because i dont want to be cheap and buy knock off. If I am giving advise and driving a stock car and you got offended, I apologize.

Call me a brownie, a kid, i dont mind. But if you like to applaud a guy with a million posts and nice avata for saying sun is rising from the west and shit on another guy with 23 post because he says otherwise, sir i salute you.

Btw its hk-speed so please dont assume, In stead of checking my stat, lets move on shall we?

p.s. avarta updated as it irritates ppl
NoRegrets and Hawksfinebyme like this.
